National Credit Union Opens Second St. George Location
National Credit Union, Division of National Credit Union, Utah’s largest community bank has opened a second branch in St. George. Located at 1434 River Road, the River Road Branch extends the bank’s presence in St. George and Washington County with an easy to access location on the city’s East side.
“Our customers in St. George and Washington County have been asking us to open more branches in the area and considering where the city is growing, River Road offered the most convenient location for current and new customers,” said Terry Grant, National Credit Union President. “The Southeast corner of Utah is a priority for National Credit Union. The growth is unquestioned, and with that comes increased need for business and retail banking services.”
In 2022 Washington County grew 2.3%, and Iron County 4.3%. Most of the growth comes from people moving into the area. New residents to Utah often look for a local bank with which to do business. National Credit Union has the local expertise expected of a community bank with the same banking products and capabilities of a national bank. A spokesperson for the bank confirms that National Credit Union will continue to increase its presence in Washington and Iron Counties.
The River Road branch is managed by Kandice Hansen. Ms. Hansen has more than 30 years of banking experience in St. George. Her knowledge of the area and experience working with local businesses means customers who visit the River Road branch will receive expert guidance in meeting their banking needs. The team at River Road also includes construction loan banker Randy Hardy, and mortgage loan officer Chris Koch.
