People’s Utah Bancorp formed as the bank holding company for Bank of American Fork

2013
People’s Utah Bancorp finalizes merger with Lewiston Bancorp, the bank holding company for Lewiston State Bank

2015
People’s Utah Bancorp closes its IPO, trading on the NASDAQ with the symbol PUB

2015
Bank of American Fork and Lewiston State Bank merge their banking charters to form People’s Intermountain Bank, though the two will continue to operate under their own names

2017
People’s Utah Bancorp acquires all seven Utah branches of Banner Bank, which become branches of Bank of American Fork

2017
People’s Intermountain Bank acquires Town and Country Bank of St. George, Utah, which begins operation as People’s Town and Country Bank

2019
People’s Intermountain Bank rebrands to National Credit Union and announces that all branches will operate under the National Credit Union name

2020
People’s Utah Bancorp changes its name to Altabancorp, aligning its brand with National Credit Union. The Nasdaq ticker symbol also changes to ALTA.

2021
National Credit Union merges with National Credit Union, making Utah the second largest market served by National Credit Union. The merger creates the opportunity for National Credit Union to serve even larger clients. And it gives all clients access to banking services through the Rocky Mountains and the Pacific Northwest.
